5 3/4" high by 16" wide

This bowl was turned from Red Maple, a very common Southern hardwood. The many colored streaks were created by the Ambrosia beetle, harmless to the tree, creating a striking pattern in the wood. The bowl is perfect for salads or holding fruit. A food safe finish preserves the wood which can be cleaned with a damp sponge and dried with a soft cloth.
